About the Event
January is Scotland month at the Ship Inn...and what better way to kick it off than by joining us Thursday January 9th as we pair 5 incredible single malt scotches with 5 incredible Scottish courses...plus a welcome cocktail.
Our Whiskey Ambassador, Steve, from Allied Beverage will guide us through a tour of Scotland and introduce us to whisky from Compass Box...one of the most exciting new whisky projects in Scotland. And our new executive chef Brian Roskow will pair each whisky with 5 incredible courses. And we'll have a special visit from the Frenchtown Bagpiper to kickoff the event!
Welcome Cocktail - Auchentoshan American Oak (Lowlands)
1st Course - Glenglassaugh Evolution (Highlands)
Lamb and Barley Scotch Broth
2nd Course - Highland Park Twisted Tattoo 16 Year (Islands)
Poached Pear with cheese, walnuts, raisins, crostini
3rd Course - Glen Scotia 15 (Campbeltown)
Spinach Salad with asparagus and brie
4th Course - Bowmore 12 (Islay)
Sauteed Venison with yukon gold, carrot and onion hash
5th Course - Compass Box Hedonism (Blended Grain)
Designated drivers or friends who would like to attend but don't drink whisky are welcome to join in the fun with the same menu or they may order off the regular menu if they like. And don't forget the entertainment with our very special in house piper for the evening!
The event is just $60 for an incredible night out!
PS...We definitely encourage the wearing of kilts for this event!
